Enraged by an unknown blogger, who has been posting derogatory messages on Bachchan's blog and sending him abusive texts on his mobile phone, the superstar has warned, "I can be a gentleman up to a point." The 67-year-old actor, who lodged a complaint against the person, is angry that the blogger is targetting his grand children in his messages.

"There is a limit to which this can be tolerated. I can be a gentleman up to a point. But beyond that I shall stop being one. You go to the level of so much as touching my family and little innocent grand children and you shall have to pay extremely dearly," Bachchan wrote on his blog. The superstar said he has been getting a "barrage of messages of support" since the matter was picked up by the media.

"The media picked up our blog of yesterday and spread it out into the world of information and now for the entire day there has been a barrage of messages of support, of wanting to catch the culprits and take them to task, of grave indignation and of being incensed by this show of absolute garbage that has been directed towards me," he wrote.

Shahrukh Khan was earlier said to have stepped into Big B’s shoes, but reports say that King Khan has turned down the offer as he’s busy shooting in Bali for Don 2.

Yuvraj Singh has not paid his income tax

The central tax department of Chandigarh is going to send legal notices to Yuvraj Singh, VRV Singh, Sunny Sohal and Uday Kaul. All the four players are from Kings IX IPL team and they have not yet given their tax of Rs 1,17 crore to the department for the first two seasons of the Indian Premier League.The department will send notice to these players in this July or in the first week of August.

The department has already been sent notices before to but only Yuvraj and but also VRV Singh and Uday Kaul. But they have said that they have only received their match fees not the advertisement fees, so tax is not applicable to them after the first edition of the IPL. But now the cricketers have not declared how much money they got from advertises and match fees after the notice has been send to them.

The department says that the tax is above 96 lakhs of rupees on Yuvraj Singh, over 11 lakhs on VRV Singh and rupees of 9.06 lakhs both on Sohal and Kaul. The officials have estimated that Yuvraj has earned 4.25 crore rupees alone and VRV 50 lakhs, Sohal and Kaul 20 lakhs each.

When computer engineer Prasad Doke (24) got a call on his cellphone on July 9 wanting to speak to actress Kareena Kapoor, he was amused.

However, when the Thane resident got more than 150 such calls -- one from an NRI in the US -- within 24 hours, he lost his cool.

After one of callers told him that his number was used as Kareena's number in her latest film, Milenge Milenge, he decided to watch it.

"In one of the scenes when Kapur finds a book with Kareena's number, my cellphone number is displayed on screen," said Doke, who repairs and assembles computers.

"I even had girls calling me and asking for Kapur's number. I also got many obscene SMSes. Some callers proposed their undying love for Kareena, while other proposed marriage. Some also sought film roles," Doke said.

He complained that some of the callers abused him and used foul language for not putting them through to the actress.

Dhad reportedly termed New Zealand as one of the most beautiful places for honeymoon during India's tour to New Zealand last year. That prompted the Tourism Board of Queenstown to invite him.

Rakesh Roshan has recently installed nine CCTV cameras to monitor his house. Recently, a 31 year old man Jai Anand claimed that in 2009, he entered the star’s home and ran away with Rs 10 lakh cash and also jewellery worth Rs 25 lakh.

There are ten cases registered against the accused, who operates mostly in the upscale suburbs of Oshiwara, Juhu and Versova.Amitabh Gupta, the ACP said, “Anand has confessed to stealing from Roshan’s house but we need to verify his claim.” Hrithik Roshan has denied the theft categorically and his sister Sunaina said that she does not remember any such theft.

However, the senior Roshan seems worried and he has installed the nine CCTV cameras at their Juhu residence. He wants to protect his family himself apart from taking police help. The director and former actor has installed the cameras on all the three floors of his house.

A source confirmed the news saying that Rakesh Roshan had ordered for these cameras a long time ago. These CCTV cameras have been placed at different angles and positions to monitor his house all the time. The veteran has taken the responsibility of monitoring the footage from all the cameras.

According to the source, there are three cameras at the entrances of the three floors with one being installed in the kitchen and one in the passages of the floors. Rakesh Roshan has accepted the story, saying, “It is a confidential matter so I cannot discuss it in detail.”

Over a week after supermodel Viveka Babajee committed suicide, there are surprising new developments in the case. Her family is rubbishing the claims of stockbroker Gautam Vora who had denied being in a relationship with the model, and had said that she was depressed. Late yesterday (July 4), Dale Bhagwagar, spokesperson for Viveka Babajee’s family, made the following statement:

"On June 25, supermodel Viveka Babajee was found dead under mysterious circumstances. When it came to be known that Viveka was in love with a guy named Gautam Vora, the police and media began to collect further information in the said matter.

At this time, Gautam Vora is said to have immediately deleted his Facebook account. After this, he was reported untraceable for two days. When he emerged on the scene, it came to be known that he had applied for anticipatory bail.

Gautam strongly denied any serious relationship with Viveka Babajee, stating, they were just “good friends” and nothing more. In propagating this, he was aided by his friend Viren Shah, who also gave several statements and media interviews denying that Gautam and Viveka were ever in love.

Both Gautam and his friend Viren stressed in their interviews that Viveka Babajee was “depressed” and thus committed suicide. This ‘depression theory’ was doing the rounds so strongly for the first few days after her demise, that even the police seemed to have been influenced by it.

But after Viveka’s funeral, Chautha and last rights were over, through my common friend Mr Jatin Kumar, her family requested me (Dale Bhagwagar) to intervene and put forth some hard facts in front of the media, on their behalf. Addressing the issues as the family’s spokesperson, I revealed that contrary to the belief about Viveka being depressed, she was very cheerful, motivated, courageous and inspiring, till we suddenly heard of the mishap.

I’d stated that according to her mother Mrs Dayawanti Babajee who stays in Mauritius, Viveka had discussed her boyfriend Gautam several times with her, and told her mother that Gautam had proposed, and she had agreed to marry him. Viveka had also made Gautam speak to her mother once over the phone. According to her mother, Gautam had asked Viveka to go for a fertility test to see if she could bear him a baby and also that the couple had matched their horoscopes and were happy that most points, except one, had tallied.

But even after these disclosures, through his friend Viren Shah, Gautam Vora continued to deny his close proximity to Viveka.

With the cooperation of Viveka’s technical advisor and administrator, her family has managed to access her Gmail as well as Facebook accounts, which point towards the fact that the couple were not just friends, but love-birds.

Apart from various emails which indicate that Gautam Vora was madly in love with Viveka, there is also photographic evidence which further signifies their relationship as a couple in love.

The Babajee family feels that this new evidence, which they have managed to procure from Viveka’s Gmail and Facebook accounts, should leave no doubt that Gautam had lied and misguided, both the police and the media, about the nature of his relationship with Viveka, while spreading the ‘depression theory’ after her death.

In Viveka’s Gmail account, the Babajee family has also found some other shocking obscene photographs which Gautam had sent to Viveka from his BlackBerry phone. But since these photographs are disgustingly pornographic in nature, we haven’t made them public.

Because of the material records available in the said matter, and after scrutinising the statements made by Gautam Vora, as is appearing in the media reports, it largely appears that Gautam Vora is hiding the truth, for reasons best known to him.

Therefore, the Babajee family requests Gautam Vora to immediately approach the police and come out with all the truth about Viveka. Without further delay, they also want Gautam Vora to confess to the police about what exactly happened in the last meeting on the night before the incident, because from his behaviour, it seems that there is much more than what meets the eye. The Babajee family wants Gautam Vora to come up with the truth and nothing but the truth, about the death of Viveka Babajee."

The latest in the case of model Viveka Babajee’s death has it that just before contemplating suicide, the deceased met a Mumbai florist to order gifts and flowers for her boyfriend Gautam Vora’s upcoming b’day.

She had a meeting with the florist on 23rd and 24th of June and discussed the ideas to make Gautam’s b’day a special one. Speaking to Spicezee, the florist said, “She was very choosy and particular about the gifts, flowers and balloons she wanted to present her boyfriend. She seemed like deeply in love with the guy. We were planning out ways to make it a special day for Gautam. Viveka Babajee wanted to celebrate Gautam’s b’day in a big way.”

The link-ups stories of Bollywood celebrities and cricketers are not new. Very often they hit the headlines for their alleged relationship and most recently it came to hear that cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and actress Asin are more than friends. It was speculated that something serious has been cooked up between Dhoni and Asin after he was spotted at Asin’s house at Lokhandwala.

Dhoni went to Asin’s house and had a gala time with her watching the semi-final match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Dhoni stayed there till the match ends up. Two days back, he again headed for Asin’s apartment and stayed there for an hour and a half. A source says, “Just before he left for the Asia Cup series in Sri Lanka(which began on June 15, 2010), he visited Asin’s house in Lokhandwala. This time, the two of them were not watching a match but just chilling out.”

Their proximity develops after they starred in a commercial. Now the couple is in Sri Lanka. Dhoni is leading his team at the Asia Cup and Asin filming for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready’.Well, it is hoping that both are having their time in Sri Lanka after their work.

Amitabh Bachchan has purchased a plot of agricultural land in Kakori area on the outskirts of Lucknow, an official confirmed Sunday.While the deal was kept under wraps and Amitabh Bachchan got the transaction carried out through a power of attorney, the seller of the land spilled the beans to a TV channel Sunday.

“Amitabh Bachchan has purchased 2.4 hectares of land in Muzaffarnagar village of Kakori; while part of the land is in the joint name of his wife and himself, another plot was purchased in the name of his son Abhishek,” C.N. Dikshit, the owner of the land, told IANS. The land was registered in the name of Dikshit’s wife Suman, who transferred 2.4 hectares to Amitabh Bachchan for Rs.1.55 crore.

Yet another plot measuring about 2.3 hectares was purchased in the name of Abhishek Bachchan from Nageshwar Mahadev Cooperative Housing Society in the same village.The Bachchans have applied for mutation of the land in their respective names.When contacted, sub-divisional magistrate Mahendra Singh confirmed the Bachchan land deal.

“The sale deed of the land purchased by the Bachchans was signed three days back and they have now applied for mutation, for which certain formalities are necessary; at present, I am getting the documents examined,” Singh told IANS.

This comes barely two weeks after a court in Uttar Pradesh dismissed a petition seeking a criminal case against Amitabh Bachchan for not honouring his commitment to build a women’s college in Barabanki district.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is all set to drive world’s fastest car – Volkswagen Bugatti in his forthcoming film ‘Ra.One’.

News has it that a team of technicians from ‘The Pirates of the Carribean’ will teach Shah Rukh to drive Bugatti – an ultimate dream machine and the world’s fastest production car.

In order to master the mean machine, Shah Rukh will be taking special lessons for driving the speed demon.

Talking to a news daily, a source from the film said, “A team of technicians from ‘The Pirates Of The Caribbean’ crew is being flown down to teach Shah Rukh how to drive the car with ease. When you are zipping at a top speed of 407 kilometres per hour, your mind cannot afford to drift. Your concentration needs to be at its best.”

Touted as SRK’s most ambitious project, ‘Ra.One’ is the abridged version for ‘Random Access Version One’ where Shah Rukh plays a superhero and drives the fastest car. It is believed that Shah Rukh will perform several stunts while driving Bugatti.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Ameesha has for long been hunting for a nice pad where she can live alone and looks like she has found it after almost six months of scouting. She was looking at something in the suburbs because she wanted to be closely connected with her family members living in the city especially after she reconciled with them recently. Again, her work places will also be closer if she is in the suburbs. She has got a nice cozy apartment and is getting ready to move in.”

We also learn that the actor is currently busy doing up her pad. “From the colours to the curtains, everything is being bought by Ameesha. It is her dream home and she wants to do it up just by herself. She has a keen sense of decor and so she is not taking any help from interior decorators. She is busy going through catalogues and ordering the best possible furniture and art works,” says the friend.

The informer furthers, “Ameesha is also chucking the too girlie colours out of her life. No pinks and lavenders for her anymore. She wants bright colours on the walls with off-beat complementing contrasts. She wants her house to be vibrant. So, selection of colours is also being done by Ameesha.”

Speculations are also on if Kanav will be visiting her in Mumbai soon. “Rumour has it that they are getting back together and so Kanav will definitely fly down to his lady love. It will be great if they both do up the place together. Everybody was anticipating that the actor will have some good news to share before the sudden unfortunate break-up happened. We are hoping they make amends to their relationship,” says the source.

Recounting the woeful candle-lit date with Ash, Abhishek said to a news daily, “Aishwarya once asked me to take her for a candlelit dinner by the sea. It was the most disastrous date I have ever had.”

“It looks very romantic when you see it in the movies. But in reality, the candle gets blown off by the sea breeze…there’s sand in your food. Aishwarya and I once ordered a sumptuous dinner only to realise that the sand beneath us had given away and there was sand everywhere – on our clothes, in our food. I told Ash never to ask me to take her for a candlelit dinner by the sea again.” Abhishek said.

“I don’t know how people can call the concept romantic. It is one of the worst ideas for a dinner date. Believe me, your girlfriend will not enjoy it,” Abhishek added.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty made sure her mother Sunanda had a blast on her birthday that coincided with Father’s Day.

Shilpa played chef on the special day as she made delicacies including Thai curry and even baked a cake for her parents.

It was after a long time that the actor spent the entire day with her family. She was joined by her husband Raj Kundra in the celebrations.

“Moms bday n Fathers Day, so double celebration. Arranging a family get2gether. Decided to cook and bake a cake myself after long,” she tweeted. Shilpa adds, “Want it 2 b perfect, so shopped personally 4 all the ingredients! Supermarkets r so much fun! So tempting. Think I bought more than I wantd.”

The actor also happily posted her pictures when she was playing chef at her home and even informed that her husband loved the meal she had cooked. She also revealed the secret recipe behind the delicacies that she cooked to her fans.

“2days ‘Eat All u Want” day.’ Mission cooking was successful. Thai chickn curry with veg (used low fat coconut milk) with brown rice. Raj loved it,” she wrote.

Post cooking, the entire family attended Puja where they prayed for their parents. “Cake baked, let it cool. Attended a puja we had 4 mom at the temple, Annadaan (distributed food). Rushin back to do the icing. enjoyin this,” she adds.

Confirming the news, Aishwarya said, "It wasn`t about an attitude I had, or any inverted ideas about working overseas, it was simply about scheduling. I just didn`t have the time".

The actress is reported to have been courted relentlessly by Hollywood filmmakers. Director Brett Ratner wanted her for ‘Rush Hour’ and Wolfgang Petersen pursued her for ‘Troy’.

Talking about the films she was offered, Ash said, "Michael Douglas came to India and did a press conference where he confessed that he had brought a script my way. And Will Smith was generous enough to be persistent twice over, for ‘Hancock’ and ‘Seven Pounds’.”

The 36-year-old actress said no to the Brad Pitt starrer ‘Troy’ as she was not comfortable with the intimate scenes.

Deepika Padukone is on the seventh heaven these days, for the actress will be joined by her parents on the sets her latest film ‘Break Ke Baad’, which is currently being shot in Mauritius.The actress, who has been having a busy schedule of late, was terribly missing her family, and as a result, Deepika’s doting parents decided to visit their daughter. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Deepika’s diary is chock-a-block. Over the last six months she has been shooting for ‘Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Se’, ‘Lafange Parinde’ and now ‘Break Ke Baad’. In the midst of all this, she was also promoting her film ‘Housefull’ and other endorsements.”

“She has hardly spent time with her parents and has been missing them. She was missing them so much that they instantly decided they would go and visit her on the sets. Incidentally, they have never been on her sets before this. This will be the first time,” the source said.When enquired, Deepika confirmed the news and said, “I have been working round the clock and I just thought that it would be nice if they can spend some time together with me after my shoot. They will be here for a week and once I am done with the shooting of ‘Break Ke Baad’, we all are planning a big family holiday. I will be in the middle of work but I would at least get to spend some time with them.

They will come next week and be with me till the end of the schedule, which will be a week from the time they come.”For now, Deepika is sharpening her skills on scuba diving and would love to play badminton with daddy.

Cracks in Amar-Bachchans ties ?

Are cracks beginning to appear in Mr Amar Singh’s decade-old relationship with the Bachchans? The expelled Samajwadi leader, who no longer stays with the Bachchans during his frequent Mumbai visits, poured cold water on the theory that Jaya Bachchan sacrificed the Rajya Sabha seat offered to her by the SP for her “brother Amar Singh”.

Speaking exclusively to this newspaper, Mr Singh said: “She is missing the Rajya Sabha more than she misses me.” Mr Singh said Ms Bachchan was “perhaps forced to give up the Rajya Sabha because of resistance from her family, particularly Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan).”

While Mr Bachchan never reacted over his expulsion, Mr Singh continues to find his behaviour “imepccable”. Mr Singh said his friendship with Mr Bachchan was “time-tested”. He also appears to have sorted out his differences with filmstar Shah Rukh Khan.At an awards function a few years back, the star had sent an actress to Mr Singh sitting in the audience.

As she approached Mr Singh, Shah Rukh had jocularly remarked: “Amar Singhji, aapki aankhone mein ek darindagi kee jahlak dikhai dee (Amar Singh, one can spot a flash of evil in your eyes).”This is all forgotten today. Said Mr Singh: “We have kissed, hugged and made up... I have no issues with Shah Rukh anymore.”

Mr Singh revealed that Jaya Bachchan had kept her meetings with Mulayan Singh in April-May a secret, however, he bore no grudge against her.“No cracks from my side. My feelings for Amitji, Abhishek, Shweta and Aishwarya remain the same.”And Jaya bachchan? He replied: “I am concerned for her, since she is a friend’s wife and mother of Abhishek and Shweta.”He then quipped, “If the family allows, politically, Jayaji can be bigger than me. She is more pragmatic.”

Mr Singh refuses to accept that he had any influence or role on Jaya Bachchan’s decision to reject the Rajya Sabha seat offered by the SP as a “reward” for being “loyal to Mr Mulayam Singh”.He claimed that “Jayaji would have accepted the nomination, if the family allowed her.”He also pointed out that the SP “could not have nominated her for Rajya Sabha without her consent.”

Mr Singh, who kept repeating that he “bears no grudge against Jayaji,” also revealed that she refused to divulge her meetings with Mr Mulayam Singh at the Bachchans’ Gulmohar Park residence in the national capital sometime in April-May this year.

The expelled SP leader said that Jaya Bachchan “kept telling me, Mulayam Singh does not speak to her, does not receive her calls and that she is not in touch with him.”

Mr Singh feels that her husband Amitabh Bachchan was also perhaps “not aware of the meetings between Jayaji and Mulayam Singh in Delhi.”He argued in such “independent, professionally successful and high-profile families, it’s not necessary to discuss everything.”

Describing her as an “aggressively independent person and self-opinionated,” Mr Singh recalled one of her remarks to him: “Amar Singhji, I respect your views and you ought to respect mine,” Ms Bachchan reportedly told him.

The “straightforward”, “practical” Jaya Bachchan had once “bluntly” told him: “Amar Singhji, please do not expect intense reciprocity.Everyone is not the same. Reminding that she was in Rajya Sabha and politics because of him, Mr Singh declared: “I do not miss her socially or politically, but I do miss her emotionally.”
